download Abstract Submittal form

Abstracts are being solicited for the 2007 Have Forum Symposium to be held at Eglin AFB, Florida.

Topic areas of interest include:

  • RCS, IR, Laser, Visual and Acoustic signature reduction/control concepts/techniques.
  • Countermeasures design considerations.
  • Vehicle design and integration issues including maintainability, operational durability, survivability and reparability (design robustness of LO subsystems/systems for operations, combat damage, mission completion and field repair).
  • Survivability design/development/testing considerations for LO systems (aircraft, ship & ground vehicles).
  • Affordability and producibility considerations for LO systems/subsystems.
  • Materials development for signature control of particular interest are papers discussing future directions for these materials as well as cost, repair, and producibility.
  • Advanced computational methods for signature prediction, including RF, EO, IR signature prediction methods and issues.
  • Signature measurement techniques with emphasis on how to improve test and evaluation practices, procedures, and calibration standards for components, subsystems, or whole systems characterization in IR, EO (Laser), RF, Acoustic, and material properties measurements. Papers related to the preparation of an ISO-25 compliant RCS range book, or any characterization data related to certification are welcome. There is also special interest in "Field Diagnostics" including point inspection, local or zone inspection, and full vehicle imaging.
  • Transport/larger aircraft and ship survivability considerations.

This symposium will be conducted at the collateral SECRET/NOFORN level. No SAR/SAP information may be discussed. System applications may be discussed only with the sponsor's express written permission. Classified papers will be given preference.

Authors are invited to submit abstracts of proposed papers by February 23, 2007. The title must be unclassified, but the abstract may be classified.

Presentations will be limited to 20 minutes and papers for publication will be limited to 10 pages. Following paper selection, instructions will be forwarded for submitting their papers and final presentation materials. Papers and presentations will be due on April 6, 2007.

Questions should be addressed to Ms. Lynn Brucker at 937-255-0277 or fax to 937-656-7074.
